Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu is the master instructor, Kumu Hulu, of this 25 member dance troupe, performing Hula -- the "heartbeat of the Hawaiian people". Mark takes hula to new heights, fusing contemporary and ancient sounds through original compositions and arrangements for voice and ipu (a gourd instrument). Mark has also contributed to the Disney Sound track for the animated film "Lilo and Stitch."

Contra Dancing is a form of American folk dance in which the dancers form a set of two parallel lines which run the length of the hall. Each dance consists of a sequence of moves that ends with couples having progressed one position up or down the set. As the sequence is repeated, a couple will eventually dance with every other couple in the set. Drop in for instruction and fun!
