Historic Downtown Monterey, California - Over 30 performance sites, 80% indoors.
First Night Monterey goes on "Rain or Shine"!
Admission Buttons:
ADULT: (Age 16 years old and up) Nov 1 - Dec 16th: $12
Dec 17th to 30th: $15
YOUTH: (Age 5 to 15 years old) Nov 1 - Dec 16th: $10 Dec 17th - 30th: $15

Program:
A community celebration of the arts. FNM is an affordable, alcohol-free family celebration. This year’s theme is “Passport to the Arts". Performers and groups from folk to rock; to children projects, teen alley, big band dance venue to classical in 30 venues. Plan your night ahead of time by buying the Monterey County Herald, Sunday, December 24 2007t he guide will be inserted into the paper on Christmas Eve.
Activities begin 3:00PM, Kids Night Out!
* Creation Stations with Interactive art activities!
* Twilight Parade at 5:30 – through downtown Monterey
* Classical, Country, Jazz, Blues and Rock & Roll performances
* Dancing with the Stars all night long in the 2 great venues!
* Henna tattoos, face painting
* Teen Alley- 2 bands to rock the night away and bring in the new year!
* New Faces!- lots of new performers to First Night
Grand Finale begins at 11:15!

Free parking anywhere at Del Monte Center (map)
Shuttle Service:
Continuous Free shuttle service by MST between Del Monte Center (directions & map) (bus stop at Macy's Home Furniture Store, near street side of Macy's) and Monterey Transit Plaza (across from Monterey Safeway, junction of Tyler, Munras, Pearl, and Alvarado). Runs every ten minutes from 2 PM - 1 AM.
Bus Service:
Free Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) bus service anywhere in Monterey County on December 31st, 2 pm to 1 am, if you have a First Night Monterey Admission Button. Find your bus route with this MST map.
